iPET Network Level 3 Award in An Introduction to Dog Grooming - 5 days: £999
This NEW qualification is delivered over 5 days in our academy with practical and theoretical elements (with additional theory work to be completed at home).
This course is the first step in learning all about dog grooming and trying your hand at some of the less complex styles.
It is perfect for students who have little knowledge of dogs but who are interested in a career in dog grooming.
It is also an ideal course for dog owners who wish to learn how to correctly groom a specific breed in a variety of styles.
During the course you will groom a minimum of 5 dogs covering 3 different breeds.
There are no pre-requisites to starting the course, meaning you can join at level 3 without having completed a lower level (level 2) course first.
No previous experience is required! Once you have gained this qualification, you can continue your studies and move onto the iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Dog Grooming and Introduction to Styling.
On this course, you will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, nail trimming and basic scissoring and clipping.
Units included within this qualification are:
301: Health and Safety in a Dog Grooming Environment
318: Prepare, Style and Finish Several Dog Breeds
You will be continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework meaning you don’t have to sit a daunting exam in order to achieve the qualification. This course and qualification is available to those from the UK and internationally who are able to attend our grooming school in Hampshire for the practical training element.
Uniquely, students are continually assessed via practical demonstration and coursework. You don’t have to sit an exam in order to achieve the qualification.
